The Sefton Hotel has entered into a partnership with the restaurant group Harbour Lights.

The agreement will see the hotel's Gallery restaurant re-branded ‘Harbour Lights at the Sefton' with effect from Thursday March 26th and offering a new menu reflecting the family-owned business's signature style of inventive takes on traditional cooking.

The Sefton Group's director of hotels and leisure Adrian Brockhouse has welcomed the move, saying. ‘Harbour Lights is a respected brand with which we are pleased to be aligned and a business which complements our operation. Importantly, we see this as an opportunity to enter into an agreement with a restaurant group that shares our commitment to providing great customer service and delivering an outstanding guest experience. These core commitments will continue to be reflected in our conference and events and outside catering services, which remain the responsibility of our dedicated Sefton hospitality team.

‘The combination of a landmark hotel offering an incomparable setting for dining and the consistently high standard of the Harbour Lights product makes for a compelling proposition that I am confident will be of benefit to our respective businesses and customers.'

Harbour Lights' owner Janette Heath said: ‘We are delighted to add the Sefton Hotel to our family of restaurants.

‘Harbour Lights, as with the Sefton, has a loyal following and we are looking forward to offering our fresh seasonal dishes and fantastic friendly service to a new audience in the hotel's classically elegant surroundings overlooking Douglas bay.'

The choice provided by Harbour Lights at the Sefton will range from full à la carte to lighter bites, afternoon teas, pre-theatre dinners and weekend brunches. Mrs Heath said: ‘The mood will be welcoming and our menus will offer something for everyone.'

She added: ‘To be joining forces with such a highly regarded hotel and to be able to operate from such an iconic building is an exciting new opportunity for our business.'
