FULL HOUSE ON THE CARDS FOR PALACE CASINO'S LADS NIGHT IN CHARITY EVENT

A full house and some fantastic prizes are on the cards at the Palace Casino on Thursday September 24 when it teams up with PokerStars to support ‘Lads Night In', a national fundraising event in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

Every £50 per player buy-in fee for the poker tournament will be donated to the charity, which believes that ‘men deserve better'. The donations will help Prostate Cancer UK to invest millions into disease research, services and awareness.

Players in the Palace Casino Lads Night In charity event will receive complimentary food and a beer or glass of wine, and the chance at a crack at the first prize of a seat to the PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour Main Event, worth £440, which is taking place at the Villa Marina from October 1-4. There's also a host of other great PokerStars-branded prizes up for grabs.

In the run up to the tournament the Palace Casino will be holding mini ‘Sit & Go' satellites from 8pm on three consecutive Fridays - September 4, 11 and 18 - and giving away two seats each week to the Lads Night In event. Registration is from 7pm and entry is £10 with all proceeds going to Prostate Cancer UK.

Casino director Adrian Brockhouse said: ‘We see partnering with PokerStars to support Lads Night In as a great way to help raise funds for a charity that's investing in potentially life-saving research into prostate cancer. We hope it will also serve as a means to initiate conversations about what is the most common cancer in men in the UK.

‘We're therefore delighted to be collaborating once again with PokerStars through Lads Night In at the Palace Casino, by hosting a charity poker tournament to put the fun into fundraising.'
