The Best Western Palace Hotel Casino has promoted Stephen Reilly to deputy casino director.
Manx-born Mr Reilly joined the casino in February 2006 as a trainee dealer, since when he has risen through the department to gain this latest promotion, which sees him responsible for the hotel's casino and Kursaal operations and managing a 50-strong workforce.
Mr Reilly said: 'The role of deputy casino director carries great responsibility but thanks to the support, training and mentoring I have received over the years I feel fully prepared to rise to this new challenge. I am very much looking forward to working with a highly motivated team to develop our casino operation and continue to deliver an outstanding guest experience.'
